Honey, I’m home!
2026
Honey, I’m home! combines the 1950s flying saucer craze with the greeting ‘Honey, I’m home!’ that was emblematic of the conventional nuclear family with a breadwinner husband and stay-at-home wife. Placed in a contemporary setting, in which such things as robot dogs have become a reality, they evoke what might be called a nostalgic futurism. Whether it is post-human is left to the viewer.
